Seagull on the Beach
I took several different shots of this bird but this was by far the best. I was trying to use a wide aperture to just focus on the the gull its self. I am also glad that a wave was breaking in the background and that the light was just right. The colours were very good and the gull contrasted well with the sea.I have got to go now, I'll post soon.

i like nature shots and this is a good one - i think it's a young herring gull. you're right, capturing the wave behind the bird is special - great image.
